Robo was always a very hopeful character and the Tokyo Philharmonic’s performance of his uplifting theme made it even more emotionally stirring. My personal favorite of the lot was Robo’s Theme. An added treat was the enhanced version of Gato’s Song, which made an already good piece of music even better. Even with the SNES’s limited sound capabilities, the entrancing music sounded majestic and just plain epic to our ears. One of the most enduring components of Chrono Trigger is its sublime soundtrack. Those of us who came of age during the 16-bit era of JRPGs fondly remember Chrono Trigger as a perennial favorite.
